Girls‘ and Boys’Day on 27th of April

***Booked out! Please don’t register anymore!***

Are you interested in environmental protection, agriculture and technical jobs? Have you been wondering for a long time how wastewater is cleaned? Would you like to know what the huge sprinklers in the fields north of Braunschweig are all about?

We will be happy to answer these and other questions as part of Girls‘ and Boys’Day/Future Day on April 27th. You will visit the Steinhof sewage treatment plant, get to know jobs in the technical field and learn more about wastewater treatment and the sprinkling of treated wastewater. Professionals will explain our large and small vehicles, machines and equipment to you.

The Girls‘ and Boys’Day/Future Day has been held in Germany since 2001 for years 5 to 9 of general education schools. The action day is a measure for cliché-free career orientation for boys and girls.

Pupils should get a taste of the world of work and, if possible, gain insights into professions that they would not have considered for themselves before for various reasons.
